Charlotte offers singing lessons online from her studio via various telecommunication platforms such as Skype and Zoom, so that wherever you are- you can still learn!

‘I was taught at the world-renowned institution, The Royal Northern College of Music, where I completed an undergraduate and masters degree in voice; since graduating, I have been an active performer both in the UK and overseas. I have 10 years of teaching experience in a variety of singing genres including opera / classical, musical theatre, jazz, pop, folk and rock- I teach any age and any level! I am also an enthusiastic linguist and can teach songs in many different languages. I am an approachable, fun-loving and flexible teacher who tailors lessons to the individual. As a workshop leader, I have worked with an array of people from different backgrounds through teaching on outreach programmes within schools and hospitals. Educational project highlights include delivering music-theatre workshops to over 1,000 children at Clonter Opera, and teaching voice for CHANT productions for whom I conducted choirs at the Rugby League World Cup games.’

Essential Equipment

Although online lessons involve more technology than 1-1 lessons, it’s not as daunting as it may seem to those who aren’t computer-savvy! As the student, all you need is a good internet connection and a device with a built-in microphone and webcam or camera.

Your device (laptop / computer / tablet) will need to be positioned so that your teacher can see at least your head and upper body. If you have a tablet, you may need a special clamp (easily purchased from places like Amazon) to enable the positioning of your device.
